In 2024 we moved to using Banner to store Student Success Program data. It’s the hope of this project that inputting the Student Success Program data will support Research analysis, long term program improvements or clarity, and an improvement of the business practices of the department.

It’s our intent to change the workflow of the coordinators to create some efficiencies and save some time in what student details they personally have to track.

  1. “Service” is a required field

    1. SSO - SSP Orientation

    2. SSM1 - SSM6- SSP Meeting 1-6

    3. SSC - SSP Counseling

The SSO Code is how the system determines who the person’s coordinator is.

  1. “Service Provided” can be used to list if a service was done Online. Use the ON code.

  2. “Service Provider” are the coordinator initials.

  1. “End Date” is where you would list the date of the meeting.

  2. “Result” is where list information about the meeting.

    1. Y - Service Provided

    2. NT - Non-Complete (Time Commitment)

    3. NP - Non-Complete (Personal)

    4. NF - Non-Complete (Financial)

The codes that begin with N% should be used on the meeting (or the last meeting recorded) when it was found out that the student will no longer be in the program.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Goal

  1. Press the Alt+PgDn or Alt+PgDn to get to the Goal Assignments

  1. “Goal” is what the student receives from the program.

    1. BV - Textbook Voucher

    2. GC - Gas Card

  2. “Actual Completion Date” should be the date they were given that.

  3. “Result” of Y should be used when the Goal is filled out.

Term Maintenance (inputting a new term for a student)

image-20240725-153934.png

  1. Make sure that the “Term” in the top is what you want to add information for AND that it doesn’t match the “From Term” beneath it.

  2. Click “Maintenance” button.

  3. Then select “End Assignment”

  4. You must then click “Start Over” and then “Go” back into the same student record.

We understand how silly this is. Chalk it up to Banner being Banner.

  1. Enter data for the new Term you created!
