SV Data is fed from CCCApply and the Pre-Registration Survey. Here is some backup about the decision that was made in regards to the Pre-Registration Survey.
- As background, the three questionnaires – CCC Apply for-credit, CCC Apply non-credit, and VTEA Survey went through Jessica and Brent for approval. Of note is Jessica and Brent’s direction that the VTEA Survey only take place in the Spring term even though CO MIS says we should be updating data every term. Jessica and Brent were concerned about survey fatigue and lengthening Fall Term online registration. Spring was chosen to balance the fact that CCC Apply information largely impacts the Fall term. I’ve been handling this issue with Dali’s sign-off 1-1/2 years ago because all of the proposed changes to CCC Apply and the VTEA Survey were due to VTEA and the Adult Ed Block Grant (another CTE initiative). -Andrew Carter, 10/21/2020
