TX

You can create the TX file for the new term by using a TX file from a previous term and changing all the terms and counts. 

1. The TX file must include the record count from each of the 13 files. 

2. You will only include the files you are sending for a particular submission. 

3. Use TEXTPAD or NOTEPAD++ to find the record count. 

4. Sometimes errors occur with the TX file or the other files.

   1. If so, check for the following:

      • Make sure there are no extra characters after the first line.

      • All lines must be the same length.

      • There must be a carriage return after the last record.
